Enter your derivative problem in the input field.
Press Enter on the keyboard or on the arrow to the right of the input field.
In the pop-up window, select “Find the Average Value of the Derivative”. You can also use the search.
The average value of a function is a certain number enclosed between its smallest and largest. In differential and integral calculus, there are a number of “average theorems” that establish the existence of such points at which a function or its derivative receives one or another average value. The most important theorem on the mean value of a function in differential calculus is the Lagrange theorem (finite increment theorem).
